Make your own mask

Bring stories to life by making your own masks of key characters and acting out a story as you read it. This encourages creative play and helps develop communication skills as children interpret the characters in their own way. Here are some mask templates for characters in the Penny Dreadful and Monster Stories series for your child to cut out and colour in. You could make masks for any story by drawing a picture of the face of the character on a paper plate and sticking it onto a lollipop stick.

We are giving away copies of Penny Dreadful in our book giveaway.
